Pharma firm Lupin launched a generic version of
Femcon Fe, birth control chewable tablets, in the US market.
It’s US-based subsidiary Lupin Pharmaceuticals Inc has launched the generic version of Warner Chilcott's Femcon Fe Chewable tablets in strengths of 0.4mg/35mcg, the company said in a statement.
Femcon Fe (norethindrone and ethinyl estradiol, chewable and ferrous fumarate) is low-dose chewable, birth control tablet that can also be taken with liquid, the company said.
