Lincoln Pharma launches paracetamol drug ‘Pa-12’ in India

Lincoln Pharmaceuticals has launched a novel drug delivery system paracetamol 'Pa-12' in India for long term relief from fever and pain. Paracetamol is the time-tested molecule that controls fever and pain by working on the hypothalamus gland of the human brain. In comparison to conventional oral paracetamol tablets, clinical trials have proven Pa-12 to be more effective with longer acting action and fewer side effects. Pa-12 contains 1000 mg paracetamol, programmed for 'non-stop 12 hours fever control with one tablet only.’ 

The company carried out two years of indigenous research and developed a novel drug delivery system with a new formulation for a long acting paracetamol Pa-12. Clinical trials of more than 500 patients at leading Indian hospitals have proven and established the efficacy and tolerability of this product in comparison to other paracetamol brands available in the market.
